Joel Booth Memorial Scholarship
The Joel Booth Memorial Scholarship was created in 2005 to provide college financial assistance opportunities for members of Glen Allen Youth Athletic Association who attend Hermitage High School, Deep Run High School J.R. Tucker High School and Glen Allen High School in honor of Joel Booth. Joel Booth contributed over a decade of his life as a dedicated volunteer at Glen Allen Youth Athletic Association providing encouragement and leadership while building character and skills with our community’s youth. Joel served as a coach, umpire, Chief of Umpires and a valuable member of the Board of Directors. Joel affected the lives of many of our youth and passed away doing what he loved the most…… spending time with the youth of our community on the baseball field.
Glen Allen Youth Athletic Association awards an annual scholarship(s) to a graduating senior(s)based on the Students Essay, Community Service, Achievement and Participation in the Association. Please have students return all application materials including references to [email protected] by 15 May 2025.
