Baseball - Divisions
This information is designed to give our members a brief description on each division we offer each season.
Divisions:
1) QuickBall: Players Ages 4 – 5
- Players are taught the very basic fundamentals of baseball. Those fundamentals are: baserunning, throwing, catching and hitting. Hitting is done in a coach pitch format.
2) Jr. Rookie: Players Ages 6-7
- First year of using the pitching machine, however, a tee is provided if needed. Players begin to learn more in depth fundamentals of the game.
3) Rookie: Players Ages 7 – 8
- Second year of using the pitching machine. Players continue to expand their knowledge of the game.
4) Minors: Players Age 9 & 10
- Pitching Mound: 46’ Base Distance: 60’
- This age will have a Competitive and Recreation division to support the development of players of all experience and skill levels. Players will learn more in depth fundamentals that will enhance their game.
5) Majors: Players Age 11-12
- Pitching Mound: 50’ Base Distance: 70'
- This age will have a Competitive and Recreation division to support the development of players of all experience and skill levels. Players will learn more in depth fundamentals that will enhance their game. Starting to lead off. Pitchers are learning to hold runners on base.
6) JBR: Players Ages 13 – 16
- Pitching Mound: 60’ 6” Base Distance: 90’
