Softball - Tryouts / Assessment Information

Spring Softball Information: 

Our Spring softball program runs from the beginning of March to the end of May. 

Evaluations required for Rookie/8U, 10U, 12U and 16U
Drafts/Team structures to be finalized on the same date as evaluations.


Softball assessments for Spring 2023 season 
 
Try-outs will be held indoors at RockIt Sports.  
RockIt Sports is located at: 
3001 E Parham Rd
Henrico, VA 23228

Evaluation and drafts- 3/4 Rockit Sports. 

Equipment needed. Bat, Glove, helmet, face mask, tennis shoes.  There will be equipment to borrow.  If you do not have equipment Gayaa will have a Dicks Savings Weekend 3/3-3/6, this is a great opportunity to grab new/updated gear for the Spring Season with a discount. 

 8U 950 am arrival eval starts 10
 10U 1050 start 11
 12 U 1150 start 12
 16 U  1250 start 100

IMPORTANT REMINDERS: 
*All participants need to arrive 15 minutes before their try-out time for registration and verification of jersey size information.
**Also, please remember to bring a glove, a face mask or mouth piece, a bat, and TENNIS SHOES!


  There is no try out for the Instructional level (4,5,6 year olds).  Each instructional player will be assigned a team.

What Happens After Try-Outs?

-         Managers will hold a draft on 3/4
-         All girls will be notified by their managers on 3/4

-         Practices begin after draft

-         Your Manager will let you know your practice days and times
